1991

In February 1991, while visiting my folks in San Diego, I had the opportunity to observe how the Americans do ballooning.... quite interesting, for sure!

The first day I joined them I helped setting up, then in the chasing. On the second day I flew along!

was I surprised when the pilots showed up with short-sleeved shirts and stripes on their shoulders!
