Journalspace get-together

Before my return trip back to Germany I made a 3 day stop in Dallas, Texas, to meet some online-journalspace friends. Needless to say, I had a great time. My flight out of San Diego got delayed an hour, making me miss the connecting flight in Salt Lake City, and thus delaying my arrival.

I stayed at my friend's Scott (lowandslow.journalspace.com) and Kelly (dkmcb01.journalspace.com). On Sunday more JS friends, Steph (gillardia.journalspace.com), Brett (drstrangelove.journalspace.com), Betty (likeisaid.journalspace.com) and her husband, Paul (hambone.journalspace.com) came by to join us in a BBQ. It was sooooo much fun!

Dallas Impressions

On my last day, Scott, Kelly and I went on a tour of Dallas. Our first stop, after Scott showing off some of the homes he has built, was the Southfork Ranch which became famous through the TV show, "Dallas". After that, it was on to downtown and the Kennedy Monument and Museum.

This was the building from which Lee Harvey Oswald

supposedly made the shot that killed JFK.

We were able to walk in it and take a tour of the museum there.
