Deactivation Ceremony

The 1st Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, "Gridsmashers", Babenhausen, Germany, was deactivated in a full military ceremony. It was the last artillery unit left in Babenhausen, which will soon have no American military units at all.

I was able to get off work and attend the ceremony, one of many I have attended over the years but one of the few I have pictures of.
