We had to wake up early on Sunday morning in order to leave on a bus by 5:00 a.m. It was to be a 4 hour drive, but would get us to Abu Simbel before the big crowds of other tour groups. That was the good thing on the tour.... trips were arranged so that we pretty much avoided the big crowds.

We were not allowed to do any filming or photography inside the tempels, so all my pictures are of the outside and surrounding areas.
