Sightseeing Tour

Sunday, August 28

Saturday morning after breakfast I once again got picked up by a mini bus and brought to the central tour bus area downtown. I couldn't believe the amount of tour buses and groups gathered. In fact, during the whole 3 days the number of groups surprised me. It seemed there were more tourist in the town then locals.

I found "my" bus and we turned out to be only a group of 5 people and, as our guide explained, he was glad it was only a German group. Orginally two Frenchies were supposed to join us, meaning he would have had to do the tour in two languages. As we found out later, he speaks over SIX languages and his only occupation is doing tours. He was very interesting and at times funny.

My tour guide's yellow umbrella is his "symbol"; here with the rest of "my" group

at our reserved rest stop at a restaurant behind the cathedral

The rest of the tour pictures I have placed under the individual themes. Obviouosly some sights were photographed over and over again, making it difficult to pick out the BEST ones! lol
